it is the coolest thing in the navy. it is shorter than that missile cruiser and stouter and the hole is reinforced to be like one of those ice breaking ships and when a u.s. navy guided missile cruiser run ares aground at the airport, where all of the planes flying in and out of the airport get a perfect view of that stuck ship, when that is your particular roadside assistance need for your vehicle, if you are the navy what you call in is the baddest tow truck in the world. when that missile cruiser not stuck it took three and a half long days to that get thing unstuck. they tried everything. they tried hundreds of tons of water and they took the crew off and still they couldn't get it move. they tried again and again and again and again to tow that ship off the reef. in the end, it took the salvage ship 7 tug boats to get that ship yanked off the reef so that everybody at the airport would get them off with the navy. giant ships do not run fast aground very often. but when they do they can repair stuff that no one else

navy is planning to take apart a ship stranded on a coral reef. the u.s.s. guardian mine sweeper ran ground earlier this month in a marine park in the sea off the philippine coast. the ship was supposed to be lifted off of the reef but the navy now says that the ship is a complete loss and trying to move it would be too much damage or do too much damage to the coral reef. it is expected to take over a month to take that ship apart. >>> storm 4 meteorologist tom kierein joins us now...
